History of Tao Fong Christian Centre

Founded in 1930 by a Norwegian missionary Karl Ludvig Reichelt, The history of the Tao Fong Shan Christian Centre derives from Reichelt. Because there were many people in China who believed in other religions, the pastor hoped to spread Christianity to the people here, so that the Chinese would have the opportunity to know that Jesus is the Lord ( please refer to Matthew 16:13-16 )

Because when this center was established about 90 years ago, the original intention was to evangelize to people who believe in other religions. So you will see some buildings here with Chinese colors, including the temple of Christ, you must think that the church must be a Western-style building, but this temple of christ may be close to a Chinese-style temple in order to make the local people feel more familiar. ( refer to 1Corinthians 9:19-23 )

And there is another major feature here, which is a huge cross, which you can see from the bottom of the mountain. But if you want to reach the cross, you must first go through a narrow road, and this is the meaning of the Bible records of Jesus teaching his disciples the same. ( refer to Matthew 7:13-14 )

The meaning behind this is that most people in the world have chosen the world's fame and fortune for the sake of this life and their own interests. But only by believing and following Jesus can you first have eternal life, peace, and joy from God.

This path is easy and easy, and you can experience and watch churches in Chinese colors. And The buildings at the Centre are classified as Grade II historical buildings.

But I personally think this is apart from traveling or hiking. If you don't believe in it but are interested in learning more about Christianity, why not experience it for yourself, you will have a new experience.
Today's introduction ends here, see you next time
